Hi Friends! Thank you for visiting my little event place on the web. Vivanti Events started as a personal project of mine. After 4 and a half years of consulting and traveling 65-80% of the year, you bet I was ready to simply do something completely new and completely mine.
So, with my business degree in hand and over 10 years volunteering for local event planning committees, I marched to city hall and applied for my business license in something I usually enjoyed doing for free: planning events!
To me, events are a great platform for meaningful social change, collaboration, celebrations, recognitions, movements, or simple gatherings in life. The word VIVANTI is a fusion of the word life in my favorite languages: Spanish (Vida), French (Vivant), Italian (Vivente). It reminds me that in this life I have the opportunity make a difference via a platform that I love.
Alma Hernandez is known for her high attention to detail, love of capturing memorable moments, and truly enjoying working with a diverse group of people. This destined to be Event Planner was only 13 when she planned her first "big" event-- a Middle School Dance. Those skills she showcased at such a young age would take her on to plan charity events, fundraisers, conferences, retreats, meetings, workshops, anniversary dinners, dances, mixers, and talent showcases over the years.
Prior to Vivanti Event Planning Alma spent several years as a Consultant. Her focus in project management, data analysis, strategic planning, budget analysis, negotiating, and quality customer service are the skills that would help her launch her first event planning partnership, M.U.S.E.- Memorable Unforgettable Sensational Events, before creating Vivanti Events.
Alma holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a Minor in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento. In her free time, she enjoys dancing salsa, learning how to play the guitar, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends. As much as she loves helping plan large events, Alma finds that small intimate settings with wonderful people are her favorite. Alma is also involved in her community by serving as the President of the Solano Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Board Member for the Vallejo Education and Business Alliance, and being a Mentor for the PUENTE program at Solano Community College.
As of August 2015 Alma holds a full-time position managing national conferences for an organization based in Napa, California, serving regional and national events across the United States. Please contact for availability.
